OAK in SECOND LIFE

Our Story

BUILT ON GOOD GROOVES.
POWERED ENTIRELY BY OUR FAMILY OF REGULARS.

Founded in 2021 by DJ Dalton Hynes, OAK brings the spirit of classic San Fernando Valley dive bars to the virtual world of Second Life. It’s an unpretentious digital hangout where friends gather from around the globe to share laughs, listen to great music, and feel right at home. OAK exists because of our incredible patrons. We owe everything to our regulars, whose warmth, humor, and rapid-fire banter make this place feel less like a venue and more like family. Whether you're lighting up local chat during Sunday sets with DJ Tuka, Dalton, and Keanu, unwinding by the water on Lagoon Mondays, or streaming OAK Radio on your own parcel, you are the pulse of this community.

What started as Dalton’s personal broadcast has grown into a dedicated 24/7 cloud station delivering house, disco, and exclusive edits around the clock—built by us, but kept alive by you.
